Capcom announced that it is now planning to bring in 92 billion yen for the year in revenue with 21 billion in profit, which is a huge increase from the previous forecast of 85 billion yen in revenue and 18 billion yen in profit. Apart from Resident Evil 3 and Monster Hunter World, Capcom also revealed that pre-orders for Monster Hunter Rise for the Nintendo Switch are “off to a promising start,” which also contributed to its decision to increase its performance forecast....

Whereas Capcom’s major platformer is Megaman and its biggest RPG is the Monster Hunter franchise, Capcom has published multiple hit horror games. Some series are certainly more obscure than others, but revisiting the older titles may renew fan interest and inspire new remakes. Prosecutors are looking to keep Reffitt in federal custody until his trial because there aren’t any conditions that could keep the public safe. Reffitt allegedly bragged about having a firearm with him during the January 6 riot, threatened his children with their lives if they turned him in and predicted there would be additional violence in the future. “We took the Capital [sic] of the United States of America and we will do it again,” Reffitt wrote to other members of the Texas Three Percenters, a militia movement, according to a prosecutors’ filing....
