The Capcom Showcase was first revealed via the gaming company on Twitter. The livestreamed digital event will begin at 3 PM PT on June 13, bringing new information on everything Capcom to fans. The event is planned to last around 35 minutes, which will make it slightly longer than Sony’s recent State of Play presentation, but shorter than the planned length of the Xbox and Bethesda showcase, which could run at a whopping 90 minutes. There’s also the extended showcase to come after that, giving fans even more in-depth looks.

Capcom is also promising in-depth updates on already announced games, such as Street Fighter 6. Considering that a gameplay trailer was already revealed for Street Fighter 6 at Sony’s aforementioned State of Play presentation, fans will likely be hoping for a closer look at that gameplay. Perhaps there could even be a nod to the Street Fighter 6 leaks, which may have already spoiled the lineup for the game’s roster at launch.

These leaks have already been somewhat addressed by Capcom, and while Street Fighter is one of the company’s biggest IPs, there will probably be much more to focus on in the 35 minutes available at the showcase. Fans recently recveived the news that Resident Evil 4 will be getting a remake, meaning that Capcom could spend some time showing that off. However, in terms of updates on a new Resident Evil title or DLC for Resident Evil: Village, things have been rather quiet on Capcom’s end.

The Capcom Showcase will take place during the period marked for Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest and one day before the Xbox and Bethesda presentation. Alongside potential showings of Resident Evil and Street Fighter, some other Capcom IPs could see surprise reveals. After a new website was spotted for Dragon’s Dogma, for example, some fans believe that Capcom is teasing a sequel to the RPG.

The Capcom Showcase takes place on June 13 at 3 PM PT.
